Quattrolifts vacuum lifters
Vacuum lifting equipment for granite slabs and countertops. Lift, tilt, and place granite from 330 lb to 1,800 lb (150 to 820 kg) with one operator, in the shop and on site.

A granite vacuum lifter grips a slab across its polished face with suction pads, so one operator can move and place heavy granite without edge clamps or a crew. Polished granite is an ideal vacuum-lifting surface: flat, non-porous, and firm-sealing. Quattrolifts granite lifters span 330 lb to 1,800 lb (150 to 820 kg), covering countertop slabs through oversized architectural granite. Granite countertop fabrication is a workflow problem, not a single lift. A slab arrives off a tilt tray at the dock, moves to the bridge saw, cycles through the polishing line, and ends up at the install site in a kitchen with finished floors. A polished 3 cm slab seals firmly on standard pads, but honed and leathered finishes need foam pads with extra dwell time. Quattrolifts Vector machines carry the slab from the truck to the cooktop cut-out without a crew, and run on a battery cycle long enough for a full residential install. Australia Standards and AS/NZS 4801 site rules are met out of the box with the dual independent vacuum circuit.

Buying Guide
A full granite slab can exceed 1,000 lb (450 kg), and a 3 cm slab is heavier than a 2 cm slab of the same size. Pick a machine whose rated capacity comfortably clears your heaviest slab. Quattrolifts granite lifters run 330 lb to 1,800 lb (150 to 820 kg).
Polished granite is flat and non-porous, so it seals firmly with standard suction pads. Honed or leathered granite finishes need foam vacuum pads to keep the seal reliable. Specify your finishes when you request a quote.
In-shop machines (Mule, Glassboy) handle granite at the saw, the polisher, and the loading dock. On-site machines (Vector) carry battery power and off-road tires for jobsite delivery and install. Forklift-mounted Omni units bridge both.
Hand-carrying granite slabs is the main source of back and finger injuries in countertop shops. A granite vacuum lifter lets one operator place a slab that previously took a crew, and removes the point-load cracking risk of edge clamps.
Granite countertops fail at the install, not at the saw. Sink and cooktop cut-outs leave a thin neck of stone that cracks under point load, and a long overhang loses support the moment it leaves the lifter. A face-gripping vacuum lifter solves both: the load stays distributed across the slab face until the cabinets carry it. Run the final set slowly, keep the vacuum live until the substrate takes full weight, and never release a slab with a cut-out still cantilevered. This is the install protocol Quattrolifts ships with every Vector unit sold into countertop fabrication.
